Backlog

Oookay…. So it’s been a bit quiet around here since I came back from SXSW Interactive.

The reason - I’ve been overloaded with ideas and then took a few days out as a pre-birthday treat to take a short break with the family and some friends to a wonderful lakeside cottage location in the Cotswolds Water Park called The Lower Mill Estate. Lovely.

The 24-7 synapse-firing action of SXSW has taken it’s toll and I’m still suffering from a case of ‘idea overload‘. The break was an opportunity for me to wind down a little and take stock but I’m still feeling like I need to get a few ideas out there.

So I’ve been gathering my thoughts and I’ve decided on the format of ‘SXSW Threads and Themes‘ as a way to deal with the backblog that I’ve generated by being quiet for a while. (Well, Twitter only counts a little!)

My format for dealing with it is that I’m going to steadily work my way through my notes and flesh out some of the thoughts and ideas that I had or came into contact with and I’ll be publishing each ‘thread’ in separate posts. I expect they’ll overlap and interconnect…

Let’s see where we go with this!
