In an interesting turn of events I was invited by Joanna Geary of the Birmingham Post to join their new blogging team.
Seems like something that I should try out - the reasons being:
- I’m mixing lots of different types of content on this blog. Perhaps some of my ‘birmingham-centric’ stuff should have a different home?
- This might get some of the stuff that’s happening with the Big City Plan in front of a wider audience.
- It might be fun to see how things work in the ‘real world’ of online journalism from the inside out.
- I might get loads of money through being a pro blogger.
Oh alright - one of these is a lie.
Here’s my first post on the newly relaunched site. Expect more where that came from, although there may be an interruption of service with SXSW next week.
