The idea behind 4tips was to produce a system that enabled user generated tips to be added to shows that Channel 4 broadcasts after the event and would allow people to discuss the show in an innovative and productive way - suggesting tips to eachother and rating them using ‘thumbs’ (up and down). The first two have been a success so far - Jamie Oliver at Home and How Clean is your House.
